Peter Robinson
Non-Executive Director

Peter has had over 30 years experience in the financial services industry, primarily with Woolwich plc where he was both Managing Director and Group Chief Executive.

Peter's professional qualifications include Fellow, Chartered Institute of Bankers, Companion, Institute of Management, and Fellow, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. He is also a Freeman of the City of London.
 

Peter joined Foresters as Group Chief Executive in 1998 and retired in May 2006.  During his time here he oversaw the rapid expansion of both the financial services business and community based charitable activities.

In retirement, he has a number of non-executive Directorships including Chairman of COBRA plc.

Peter enjoys sport, especially cricket and golf, as well as gardening and spending time with his family and dogs. He is a member of the MCC, RAC and West Kent Golf Club.
