Important Information

black bullet point The amount shown by the calculator is only an estimate of what the savings could be worth on your child’s 18th birthday.

black bullet point There is no guarantee that the CTF account will reach the value shown by the calculator. The final value could be higher or lower than the value shown by the calculator.

black bullet point The Forester Life Child Trust Fund is a stakeholder account, however, this doesn’t guarantee that there can never be a loss of value or that a stakeholder scheme is the right investment for your child.

black bullet point The calculator does not deal with investment risk and investment advice. It is not a basis on which you should make investment decisions and your needs will be confirmed before a recommendation can be made.

The calculation is based on:

black bullet point Potential investment annual growth rate of 7%.

black bullet point Potential annual increase in monthly payments of 2.5% per annum compound to keep pace with inflation, subject to allowable limits.

black bullet point Annual fund charge of 1.5% which covers the cost of administering the account, managing the investment in the fund and paying the salary of your financial adviser.

black bullet point The Government payment at age 7* is not included in the calculation. This payment will be paid directly into the child’s CTF account.

*The Government will make a further payment of £250 or £500 (to children from

lower income families) into the CTF account on the child’s 7th birthday. To qualify the child must be in receipt of Child Benefit, have a CTF account and be living in the UK on their 7th birthday.

These payments will not count towards the annual £1200 limit.
