ACTIV8! is our programme of exciting opportunities for
Foresters members (or children of Foresters policy holders) to get
active to make a difference!
The group get together throughout the year to help make a
difference to a community group or project, or to enjoy new and
challenging events and experiences and to meet new friends and have
fun!

KIDS is a leading UK charity
which offers direct and practical help to over 7,000 disabled
children, young people and their families
KIDS supports the inclusion of disabled
children and young people into society and believes that disability
does not have to be a barrier to fulfilling potential. KIDS
encourages disabled children and young people to take risks, push
boundaries and enjoy their lives.
We believe in supporting disabled
children and young people to realise what they can do and aspire to
achieve their own aspirations. Please take on a challenge event
today and show KIDS, your friends, family and collagues what you
can do.
As with all
ACTIV8 events with Foresters Community Partners, Foresters will pay
your registration fee to enter these events, and may also be able
to help with transport costs to and from the event.

Urbanathlon

missed the Urbanathlon in Edinburgh in May, don't worry!
The event is coming to
Glasgow on Sunday 19th September 2010.
Foresters is sponsoring the event again in aid
of Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.
This parkour-inspired event sees participants
tackle a series of imaginative and entertaining obstacles along a
10k route. Competitors will run, slip, slide, crawl - and laugh -
their way through the course which takes in some of the best
terrain and inspiring scenery the south of the city has to
offer.
It's just £10 to register (which Foresters
will pay for ACTIV8 members) and you can, of course, use
justgiving.com to raise the rest of your sponsorship.
Foresters may also be able to help with
reasonable travel costs to this event.

Royal Parks Half Marathon

One of the newest and most
popular events to the London portfolio, the run will take you
through London's iconic parks and through its most beautiful
scenery. The 13.2mile distance is a brilliant achievement and
supporting KIDS will make the challenge event more fulfilling.

Run

This 10 mile distance will
start you off on Portsmouth's coast and through the town centre,
taking in the Navy historical sights. Join over 18,000 people and
take on a great challenge while supporting KIDS and their work for
disabled children and their families.
