Welcome to Members of Longbow.
Your social committee have been busy as
usual and I'm sure there will be something that appeals to most
families - from the children to the young at heart. We are
busy collecting for charity - this year we are supporting Maggies
Cancer Care Centres - and we are doing magnificently with £8,000.00
collected so far. We are collecting for Children In Need again this
year at the Co-op in Wollaton, and we recently voted to collect for
the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance for 2009.

Foresters members and
their families are invited to enter Foresters have talent. Singers,
dancers, bands, comedians or novelty acts - whatever your age,
whatever you do, we want to hear from you!
Area heats with a professional judging panel giving positive
feedback to commence in February 2009.
The winner will receive: £500 cash
prize plus top billing at Foresters Regional Ball in 2009
plus a fantastic opportunity to perform in front of major
celebrities and talent scouts at the Festival4Stars Dinner in
Glasgow in November 2009.
