Regional Assembly Ball

 

Black tie dance11 October 2008, 6.30pm

The Panorama Suite, Rootes Building, The University of Warwick CV4 7AL

Cost is £29.50 per person however check with your local Branch to see if there is any discount

All accommodation is to be booked through Brian Sharp

Room cost including breakfast Double £100 per night single £72 per night

Transport will begin to leave from Scarman House at 17.45 hrs, for a Drinks Reception in the Chancellor Suite and Foyer Bar at 18.15 hrs.  Dinner will be called at 18.45 hrs in the Panorama Suite for you to welcome your Regional Council.

 

Your entertainment for the evening will be provided by “Pineapple Road”, a popular local group with Caller who will help you unwind after the days hectic events of the Regional Assembly.  The evening will have a Western theme; however the band will play mixed music throughout the evening including party and dance music.

 

Our Ball is a prestigious occasion and as such, guests should dress appropriately.  Black Tie and Party Dresses are, as ever, very acceptable however, for those who want to get more involved with the theme, smart accessories are acceptable – no denims or casual wear will be acceptable.

 

The Ball menu will be a FOUR COURSE MEAL with coffee / tea.

 

Starter:-                      Mushroom & Tarragon Soup

 

Main:-                         Confit of Hoisin Pork.

                                    (A slice of gently cooked succulent British Pork seasoned in hoisin sauce,

                                    served with crispy pieces of crackling.)

                                    Served with chef’s selection of seasonal vegetables.

 

Vegetarian:-              Sweetcorn and Pumpkin Seed Clafoutis with Roasted Peppers and Spinach.

 

Dessert:-                    Filo Apple and Pecan Tart served with a toffee sauce.

 

Cheeseboard:-         Four types of cheeses with a selection of biscuits.

 

                                    Coffee / Tea with Chocolates.
