Branch News

Branch Meetings

 

These normally take place on the third Monday of the month at the Queens Head, 140 Rayne Road, Braintree, CM7 2QR

 

We meet for a meal at 7pm and the meeting starts at 8pm for those not wishing to eat.

 

Please make sure Adrian knows your food options at least a week before the meeting.

Ladies Meetings

 

ladies1These meetings generally take place on the second Monday of each month.

 

The ladies get together once a month for entertaining evenings with a rolling programme of events.

 

 


2009 Charity Cheque Presentation

 

Canal Boat ProjectThe charity for 2009 was The Canal Boat Project registered charity number 1108452.

Geoff Hill gave an informative talk about the project at our Spring Presentation Dinner. 

Then Sylvia presented him with a cheque for £550.  This bought the total up to £1,000

The Childrens SocietyThe charity for 2010 will be The Children's Society registered charity number 221124.

 

 

 

 


Winners of the 100 Club

 

You can enter our 100 club with the chance to win one of the three cash prizes each month. Proceeds go to charity and it only costs £1.00 per month. The draw takes place each month at the members meeting.
