A Trip with the Canal Boat Project
A relaxing cruise long the river towards Sawbridgeworth was
taken by members on 20th July.
Members could help with locks, steer or just sit back and enjoy
the scenery!
We then had a tasty meal at the Mooorhen Pub.
Robert Crow, Past President said: 'A very calming and tranquil
afternoon, we will definately book again for next year.'
Woodham Walter School Fete

On 15 July over 250 people attended the Woodham Walter School
Fete. There was a Grand Draw, tombola, face painting, burger stall,
cake stall, Maypole dancing, a model railway and a wheel barrow of
booze along with two shows by Michael J Fitch the
Magician!
The event raised a magnificant £2,850 for the school and Wendy
from the school PTA said: 'Many thanks again to Foresters. As a
small school with only 79 pupils we have so few parents to pester
that we must seek financial help externally.'
Pot Kiln School Fete

The Pot Kiln School Fete was held on 6 July in
Sudbury and raised £1,700 for the school.
300 people enjoyed a dance display by the children, karate, a
bouncy castle, children's netball, a barbeque, tombola, boot fair,
cake stall, Grand Draw and face painting!
Sam Beadle a parent and branch member said: 'It was a very
enjoyable community event where all ages had a thoroughly good time
and plenty of money was raised.'
