Successes
Christmas Dance

180 people attended this wonderful, great fun
dance at Wycombe Abbey School on 15th December 2007. We
presented Multiple Sclerosis Society (reg.no.207495) with a cheque
for £4,000 and raised another £510 for them on the night through
the Raffle & Tombola.
The Charity Representative who received the
cheque was amazed and delighted by the amount and said it would buy
equipment to make life easier for sufferers.
Thank you to all those who helped make this
possible.
Stampede & Foil Competitions
Throughout the year members of Elm Grove Branch collect
used foil in
aid of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (Registered
Charity No. 209617) and used stamps to raise funds for Save the
Children (Registered Charity No. 213890).
At the Regional Council Ball in October, Elm
Grove Branch was awarded trophies for coming second in the Regional
Foil Competition and third in the Stampede.
Joan & Ken Pearce have been our collectors
of used stamps for over thirty years and were pleased to be
presented with the trophy at a recent Branch gathering. Many
thanks also go to Pauline & David Hughes, our Foil
collectors.

If you are able to collect, trim or donate
either stamps or foil for these good
causes, please contact Pauline
on 01628 529522. We would welcome your assistance.

Claydon receiving the awards from Regional President, Brian Hulf at
the Regional Ball on behalf of the Branch.
