Welcome to Members of Everglade.
With the start of another year, it is good to
look back over the past years activities. Although we have
only a very small nucleus of active members who attend meetings, we
have again run what I believe to be a very varied programme of
events. Among these were an excellent Sunday
lunch followed by a guided tour of Colchester, A visit to Dickens
World, and a highly successful trip to Thursford.
It was most encouraging to see some new faces
at some of our events, and I hope we will have the pleasure of
their company again during the coming year. If you have not
taken part in one of our activities in the past, or not for some
time, why not give them a try. All of our events are
subsidised, so they make excellent value for money, as well as
making new friends.
