Coach Trip to Thetford for "Dad's Army" Trail & Bressingham

Coach departs 8am from Kirby's
Coach Depot, Princess Road, (off Bull Lane), Rayleigh SS6 8HR (FREE
car parking)

Guests: £31.00 (Price includes coach fare, morning coffee, guided
tour, lunch, afternoon tea & the delights of
Bressingham)
Coach departs 8am from Kirby's Coach Depot, Princess Road, (off
Bull Lane), Rayleigh SS6 8HR where there is free parking.
Arrive at the Bell Hotel, Thetford for morning coffee before
setting off on the guided walking tour around Thetford being shown
where the programmes were made. Return to the Bell Hotel for
lunch at 1 o'clock then rejoin the coach for the short drive to
Bressingham. Here there is the Dad's Army Collection (Jones
Butchers shop, the Bank etc), steam engines, 4 working railways,
the Victorian Carousel roundabout, gardens & garden
centre. The coach will leave at 5pm for the return journey to
Rayleigh.
Lunch Menu: Cottage Pie, Chicken Casserole or Fish & Chips
(vegetarian option available)

As usual this event will be held at the Hollywood Restaurant in
Shipwrights Drive. The entertainer, Ray Campbell, makes a
welcome return to entertain us with music, songs and regale us with
funny stories. Come and enjoy a relaxed evening with a free
"welcome drink" of your choice, a superb 6-course meal, a great
raffle in aid of The Essex Air Ambulance and even a shuffle around
the dance floor or just sing-a-long to the old familiar
tunes.
