Success stories of 2009

Sing a long evenings Pictured are some of the members from the sing-a-long evenings who volunteered to sing a progamme of melodies at Elizabeth House Retirement Home.  The residents so enjoyed the performance, the choir has been invited back again! Care to join us? Just pop along to Highland Methodist Chuch on the 4th Monday of the month at 8.00pm.

The coach was fully booked for the tour in glorious sunshine of Essex Villages with amusing and interesting commentary by a professional guide before finishing the day at Steeple Bumpstead where we were entertained by the 'Chocolate  Lady' and enjoyed free samples and a Cream tea!  The raffle on the coach raised £60 for the E.A.A.

Mapledurham

There were 84 applications for this trip so we had 2 coaches. The weather was kind and we all enjoyed a leisurely cruise along the Thames from Caversham to Mapledurham where we ended the day with a cream tea on the lawn. The raffle on the coaches raised £83.00 for the E.A.A.
