Charity Report
Another £50 was raised by a raffle at our Christmas Social
for Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre (Charity Reg No. SCO24414).
It was proposed and accepted at the Branch meeting on
8th December that the money raised during the year
should be made up to £1000. Jean and I went on the
11th January to the centre at Hammersmith and presented
the cheque to Pippi Reader, their charity fundraising
co-ordinator. She thanked the Branch for the donation.

At the November Branch meeting, it was
decided to support CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) Charity Reg No.
1050845 as our charity for 2010. This is the National Charity
for those affected by all conditions causing young sudden cardiac
death.
Our fundraising for them will start with a
raffle at the Social on the 6th February.
My thanks to everyone who helped with the
fundraising during the past year.

Theatre Vouchers
I am still obtaining 2 for 1 vouchers for
West End Shows and if members are interested the current shows are
Hairspray, An Inspector Calls and Grease. Please give

Ladies
In December we had a lovely Christmas meal
at a local restaurant, a very enjoyable and fitting end to our
year. We are now arranging our events for the coming months
and would welcome any Forester lady who would like to join
us. We are only a small group who meet once a month, usually
on the third Tuesday, in each others homes.
We try to arrange a varied programme and if
you would like details do give me a ring.

Green Bowls
Do you play, or
