Christmas Party Dinner Dance

An excellent carvery meal followed by dancing to well chosen music was enjoyed by members at the Baskervilles Hotel in Baston on 2nd January.

£122.00 was raised from the raffle to be presented to the Air Ambulance.

Children in Need Collection 2009

Pudsey Bear £1011 was raised for Children In Need at a charity collection at the Serpentine Green Shopping Centre on 20th November 2009.

£200 from the Branch was presented to the parents of Keira Dye to help them raise money for a special wheelchair. £4,000 was raised at a later date.

A big thank you to all those people who gave money and an even bigger thank you to the volunteers who made the collection and to the staff at the centre for their help and co-operation.
