Welcome to Members of Humberside.
Welcome to Members of Humberside Branch. Hi I’m Kay
and I’m your President and Branch communications officer. I look
forward to seeing you at some of our upcoming events.
We are currently putting together a plan of
events for next year. We would like to know what you would like to
attend and be part of. All ideas are welcome! If you have an idea

Our chosen charity for this year is St Andrews
Hospice, which is based in Grimsby. St Andrews aims to give
palliative care and improve the quality of life for people with
life limiting illnesses.
Next year we will be supporting Yorkshire Air
Ambulance. This is an independent charity providing life saving
rapid emergency response service to 5 million people across
Yorkshire, covering a large varied landscape. From cities to remote
rural locations.
All members are welcome at meetings at Pearson
Park Hotel (Hull) on the first Thursday of the month 8pm. (Humber
bridge toll reimbursed.)

Foresters have Talent
February 2009
Are you ready for a challenge?
Are you waiting to be discovered?
Foresters members and
their families are invited to enter Foresters have talent. Singers,
dancers, bands, comedians or novelty acts - whatever your age,
whatever you do, we want to hear from you!
Area heats with a professional judging panel giving positive
feedback to commence in February 2009.
The winner will receive: £500 cash
prize plus top billing at Foresters Regional Ball in 2009
plus a fantastic opportunity to perform in front of major
celebrities and talent scouts at the Festival4Stars Dinner in
Glasgow in November 2009.
