CLIC Sargent Grimsby Tower Abseil -
13th June 2009
On the
13th of June Humberside Branch sponsored the CLIC
Sargent Abseil at Grimsby tower. This is expected to raise
approximately £7500. The sponsorship of this event meant that all
of the money raised will go to the charity, which is the leading
children’s cancer charity, offering all-round care.
Myself (Kay Armstrong (in picture)) and
Claire Wagman decided to Abseil the 283 ft tower on the day.
Although this was very scary we knew it was for a good cause and
raised approximately another £300 for CLIC Sargent.
