Welcome to all Members of Knightwood Oak.
Congratulations to Madeline Gregory who has
gained a Forester scholarship to help her finance her
university course.
We have already put together a programme for
next year.
One is a proposed day trip to Butlins at
Bognor Regis on 11 July 2011. Details will be available in the
New Year.
It is with much sadness that we have to report
the death of Elsie Rogers in May this year. She was a stalwart
member of the Ladies section and washed the original Foresters
football team kit.
Latterly she went on to be Queen of the
Stampede for which she gave a lot of time to this cause in aid of
Save the Children Fund. Our thoughts are with Cliff and
his family.
May I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and
a Happy New Year.
