Branch Meetings

Branch meetings take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from January to November (no meeting in August) at Chandlers Ford Community Centre, Hursley Road, Chandlers Ford, SO53 2FT.

Meetings start at 7.45 p.m.  When the meeting is finished we always make sure there is time for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat before we make our way home.  There is certainly no obligation to get involved, why not come along and meet us.

The December meeting is normally followed by a Christmas Dinner, which this year is being held at Woolston Masonic Hall, Manor Road South, Woolston.  There will be a charge for the Christmas Dinner but this will be subsidised.

All members are welcome to attend

Dates for your Diary

Please note the following dates for your diary

7th December – Charity Lunch

9th December – Members Meeting & Christmas Dinner

17th January – Installation Dinner Dance

Full details of the above will be available in later editions.

Vicky Cox

We have had a letter from Vicky Cox from Thornhill as follows.

I would like to thank everyone that sent get-well cards and kind wishes during my recent health problems. I am delighted to say I am now well on the road to recovery.  My most grateful thanks to you all.

Knitting Wool

Thank you to all you who have supplied wool in the past but our knitters are now running out.  They are desperate for more so that they can carry on supplying garments and blankets for the neo-natal units at local hospitals.  Multi coloured blankets and cardigans for Mozambique are also in high demand.  Our ladies are busy supplying woolly hats for the shoeboxes for the poor and needy children around the world.

Phone Jan Dear on 023 8086 1204 if you can help.
