Foresters are working closely with Children's Miracle
Network are supporting Cash for Kids with their Radiothon in
Leeds.
After years of campaigning, children’s
services in Leeds – which are second in size only to Great Ormand
Street - are being moved to one site, when Leeds Children’s
Hospital will be born. This huge move is happening right now,
and soon the new children’s wards, waiting rooms and theatres will
be ready.
On 25, 26, 27 March, 96.3 Radio Aire will be
moving out of the studio and into the hospital broadcasting their
shows and raising money for the Cash for Kids Appeal for Leeds
Children’s Hospital.
We would love Foresters and friends to come
along and help at the event. Just a few hours would help and
you will be provided with a T-shirt, refreshments …..and everyone
attending will be entered into a free-prize draw for a bottle of
champagne!

An excellent time to visit the House with
children is Easter. There is lots to do. Dressing up, biscuit and
chocolate demonstrations, egg decorating, egg rolling, bring your
own egg, Easter bonnet decorating and parade, bring your own
hat, egg craft-filling transparent plastic eggs with chicks and
mini Easter eggs. Circus Whiz Giant with garden games, fairground,
trails and many more things to do.
Lunch – Homemade soup with sandwiches, served with tea or coffee
at 12.30pm.

members and their direct family (i.e. a policy holder or a son,
daughter, grandson, granddaughter or in-law of a member).
It is open to all types of acts including
singers, groups, dancers, comedians and novelty acts. You can check
