Welcome to Members of Medlock Way Branch
We are trying some new events in 2009 and
one of these is a FREE Hot Pot supper on the 16th May.
The night will be a fun Quiz Night with supper. This is being held
at the WestEnd Conservative Club in Ashton.
A night at the dogs is arranged for November
14th, this will be a three course meal at the track
restaurant. The ticket price of £10 includes your meal and
race card

Poetry Pals and Creative Critters!
Art and Poetry Competition for Young
Foresters
Foresters aged between the ages of 4-18 can take part and its
FREE to enter! You can submit a picture, poetry or both and the
theme for this year's competition is 'Go Green'.
There will be a winner and 3 runners-up in each age
group. £30 of WHSmith vouchers for the winners and £10 for each of
the runners-up.
It's easy to enter - simply download and
complete the entry form here, indicating which
category your Young Forester will be entering.
When your child's art and/or poetry is complete, you simply need
to send this in with the completed entry form to the competition
address shown on the entry form.
The closing date for all entries is 30 September
