Branch News

Branch Meetings

Meetings are held on 2nd Thursday of each month at Lancing Parish Hall, South Street, Lancing, West Sussex.

For Satellite meetings, contact Trixie Folkard.

All members are welcome to attend.

Condolences

The Branch extends it’s condolences to Mary Jones on the sad loss of Frank who passed away recently. Frank was a member of the Finance Committee from 1979 to 1997 with Court Sussex Elm and then became Branch Auditor when the new Southdowns Branch was formed in 1997, a position which he then held until now. Frank will be sadly missed by all.

Foil

Rubbish

I am still collecting foil in aid of Guide Dogs For The Blind. Many thanks to all of you who regularly donate foil to this worthy cause. All contributions welcome. – Barry Cole (Foil Chairman).

Stampede

StampsIf you want to spend a therapeutic few hours trimming stamps or can help in any other way, please contact me on  01903 877363.

It is becoming increasingly more difficult to source used stamps so I would appreciate it if you could save your used stamps and pass them on to me or any Branch officer.

All stamps are sold and the money goes to our main charity – Sheila Hall (Stampede Chair).
