Branch Meetings
Our branch meetings are held on the
3rd Wednesday of every month at 8pm. At the
Hainault Room, Fullwell Cross Library, Barkingside,
Essex.
All members are very welcome to come along and see what we do at
these meetings, how we organise trips out and other things.

Haven House Concert in the Park
Haven House Children’s Hospice who are one
of our charities for this year will be holding a Concert in the
Park on the grounds of the White House, Woodford Green on 24 July
2010, and will therefore not be holding a Summer Fair this
year.
Ron Sinclair
We had some very sad news in December. Ron
Sinclair unfortunatley died on 21st December. He had been ill
with Leukaemia for some time and had tried very hard to carry on in
his lovely gentle way, but it was not to be.
Our thoughts go out to his wife Doreen along with all his
family.
Ron had been an auditor at our branch for some years, and was
also very involved with Haven House Children's Hospice. Up until
2008 Ron and his Wife Doreen did a lot of collecting for them and
raised a lot of money. Doreen continues to do this collecting. We
will miss his help at Haven's House Summer Fete this July.
Haven House Children's Hospice is our charity for 2010
along with The Diabetics Club of Ilford.
Frank Scrutton
We have also heard of the the death of Ian Scrutton's
father, Frank last month. Frank had been involved with Foresters
some years ago but had not been active for a white. Our thoughts go
out to his wife Gwen and his sons and family.
We also wish to remember Nina Whitlock and Lily Saville who have
also sadly passed away.
