Welcome to Members of Trelawny Branch.
Hello to one and
All,
We have been enjoying the weather here and
abroad. We enjoyed our cruise plus our stay in
Canada.
While in the Vancouver area, we attended a
Picnic in the Park for the families and friends of the Pacific Rim,
Pacific Gateway and Douglas Branches. Forester volunteers
cooked like mad to keep up with the hungry hordes. After
eating all the food, drinking the coffee and juices, the children
all had fun playing games.
We then were asked if we could help as
marshalls at the 25th Annual ChildRun in support of the Children’s
hospital where there over 6,000 participants. This year the
run set a new record for fundraising with over $1,000,000 in
donations.
If ever you are over in North America, and
have a chance, join in with a local Branch and I assure you that
you will have a lot of fun and meet some great people.
