Early Spring Dinner

The branch presented a cheque for just over £1500 to Beathe Easy, our charity for 2009, at an Early Spring Dinner on 26th February at the Squires Holt Restaurant at Hogs Back, Guildford.

A raffle was held for this years charity, The Fountain Centre at Guildford which raised £129.00.

The Breathe Easy Chairman said it was a wonderful achievement which means so much to people with breathing difficulties. With this money they will be buying a special machine which they have already 'test driven' and can't wait to own.

Congratulations to our two ladies teams who have made it to the Final on April 18th at Epsom!

Charity

Thanks to the hard efforts of the Committee and helpers we managed in 2009 to raise just over £1500 for our Charity, Breathe Easy Guildford, a Branch of the British Lung Foundation.

The money will be used to buy equipment not available by NHS funding for those who suffer from various lung conditions.
