well as universally.
Scottish Regional Assembly Ball
Following the successful business meeting
during the day, a special Regional Assembly Ball was held in the
evening at the Dunblane Hydro Hotel for delegates and their
guests.
White Heather Branch Members enjoyed a great
Ball, especially when the Regional Trophies were presented and our
Branch won the 10 Pin Bowling Trophy for the 6th year
running. We also won the Junior Quiz Trophy and the Public
Relations Trophy for the 9th time in the last 10
years. The most prestigious trophy for the ‘Most Progressive
Branch’ was also collected by our Branch President, Gordon
Thomson. Again a very successful year for White Heather
Branch Officers and it’s Members.
Remember all Members can help the Branch
continue to receive Awards and Trophies by giving some of their
valuable time to attend, support and help with all the different
events organized by the Branch Committee.
Stampede Competition for 2007-08
Stampede prize giving was held on Sunday 19
October at the Old Coach Inn in Uddingston. White Heather
Branch Member, Carol Anne Conway, was presented with the White
Heather Winners Trophy for collecting the most used Postage Stamps
during the year 1st August 2007 until 31st
July 2008 with Kimberley Cowe being presented with the runners up
Trophy. Kathleen Connor, the Branch Stampede Convenor, is
appealing to Branch Members to send used Postage Stamps whether
they want to enter the competition or not. Please send the
